AVALON is the annual Technical Festival of Terna Engineering College. It provides students from different streams of engineering and diploma over the nation with a perfect stage to showcase their technical expertise. The main goal of “PROJECT COMPETITION & TECHNICAL PAPER PRESENTATION” is to acknowledge students with emerging ideas in this fascinating and expanding world of science and engineering. Thus this festival manifests the conglomeration of talent, intellect, innovative and competitive spirit of the students.

AVALON 2017 – NATIONAL LEVEL PROJECT COMPETITION & TECHNICAL PAPER PRESENTATION conducted on 01st and 02nd March 2017 got an overwhelming response nationwide. 113 selected Technical Paper Presentation and 74 projects from different institutes were displayed. All the projects and presentations were outstanding and AVALON reflected the perfect confluence of intellect and ingenuity.Mrs. Geetha Andrew from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (B.A.R.C.) was the Chief Guest for the event.She served for 17 years at ISRO,Involved in the development of various Computer based Systems for the ground support of satellite and launch Vehicle missions of ISRO at ISRO Telemetry, Tracking & Command Network,Banglore.She is Currently working at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre(B.A.R.C.) as Scientific Officer, in the Reactor Control Division of Electronics and Instrumentation Group. ----ARCHANA SAROJ(TE-IT)
