What determines whether or not someone is successful in your eyes? For some people it is securing good marks or grades in their examination. For others it may be having a lot of money or having the time freedom to play their favorite game once a week. Some other people associate it with raising their children to be "good people" or having a large group of close friends. The definition and nature of success differs from person to person.

   The very first step towards achieving success, therefore, would be, for every individual is to understand the concept of success in his own manner. Then one should set a goal in his or her life. Some may seem small and some may seem outrageously ambitious in the eyes and minds of others. Whatever the size of the goal or whatever the goal is, when we accomplish it, it will equate to success no matter how big or small.

    I personally congratulate all the students of TEC who have passed in the last semester exam. Kudos to all who have got distinction or first class. I want all our students to continue to do well in all the semesters to come.

Today, there is a lot of competition in the industrial arena based on effective use of technology in its operation. Therefore knowledge creation and application of the knowledge created should be emphasized and should be main function of technical institution in order to meet the competitive needs of the industry around. In such case, knowledge dissemination will follow automatically.

    According to Pat Ritey, “Excellence is the gradual result of always inspiring to be better.”

 

Hence t is better to act first and success will follow you.
