WE are happy to announce that AICTE has permitted us to start M.E. (Computer Engg.) & M.E. (Electronics Engg.) from Academic Year 2010-2011.

* For Academic year 2010-11, Admission process for ME(ET) has been initiated in June 2010 itself. Now process shall start for ME Comp / Elex as mentioned below

1. Qualification, Examination & Eligibility

a. Qualification & Eligibility
  1. To be eligible to apply for admission to the master of Engineering (M.E.) course, a candidate should have passed,


    OR

    Bachelor of Engineering Degree in the aforesaid branches of any other University recognized as equivalent to BE of this University

    OR

    Should have passed the Section A and Section B examination conducted by the (I) Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India), New Delhi and (2) The institutions of Engineers (India), Calcutta- 700020, and qualified at the Gate Examination conducted by the admission to the Master of Engineering degree course in the specific branch in which they have passed Section A and Section B examination of a related branch as listed above.

  2. The sponsored candidates should have a minimum of 55 % aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

  3. The sponsored candidate must have a minimum of two years full time work experience in a registered firm / company / educational and or research institution / a government department or government autonomous in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

b. Examination (TERNET)
  1. College will conduct its own qualifying examination (Online in College Campus) & will conduct personal interviews for admission. Model Question Paper: M.E. (ET/ELEX) M.E.(Comp)
  2. College will prefer students with valid GATE score
c. Deserve candidates shall be provided stipend of Rs. 5000/- P.M. and also they shall be asked to engage few UG lab hours.

  1. Reserved seats for B & C category candidates will be offered to the candidates in the respective category in the first round, strictly on the basis of merit decided and specified in the rules elsewhere.
    The vacant seats if any in the reserved category stated above, will be offered to the candidates of "General Category"
  2. Candidates claiming to belong to the backward class will be required to produce a certificate to that effect from the appropriate authority.
  3. Candidates belonging to SC / ST category of backward class from Maharashtra only, will be eligible for admission.

4. Application & Documents Required

Application in the prescribed form attached here to, complete in all respect and addressed to the Principal, Terna Engineering College, Nerul, Navi Mumbai,should be submitted to the college office by 5.00pm of July 22,2010.

Cost of Form is Rs. 700/-
You can download Application Form and M.E. Prospectus 2010-2011 here and submit completed form along with DD of Rs. 700/-.

The following documents should be attached with the application form:

  1. Attested copy of the Qualified Examination Degree Certificate
  2. Attested copy of the final year mark sheet
  3. Copy of the work experience certificate, if any
  4. Provisional Eligibility Certificate in case of candidates who have passed their BE degree from institutes or universities other than the Mumbai University
  5. Transfer certificate from the previous college
  6. Caste Certificate, if required
Original Certificates will have to be produced before admission is finalized.
