The Computer Department of Terna Engineering College aims at bridging the gap between the vast resources of information and the student's eagerness to acquire knowledge. The faculty forms the nerve of the department. We are fortunate to be led by a well trained and highly motivating teaching staff. In addition to the teaching assignments, some faculty members are engaged in research work which is actively supported by the college. Stalwarts from the industry are frequently invited to conduct seminars on topics on various subjects, to keep the students abreast with the latest developments in the industry. The Training and Placement cell is in constant touch with Industries to help the students in undergoing final year projects.

- Microsoft Campus licenses and Sun Campus licenses to deploy variety of Application / Development software like Visual Studio, SQL Server, Microsoft.Net, Java, Sun Forte,etc. Licenses of application specific software like Oracle 9i, Matlab 7.0 etc.
- Leased Line connectivity of 1 MBPS band width to provide High Speed Internet Facility. Dedicated Project Lab for final year Project development.
Prof. D. K. Chitre, a senior software professional heads this department and has an expertise in Data Structure, Analysis of Algorithm and Programming Language.
